EMPOWERING ORPHAN'S DREAMS

 

Wedding of Orphan Girl Kehkshan November 2023

VOICE Foundation in collaboration with FGA Church D.E.B completed different activities for children with special needs, widows, orphans and poor people living within the vicinity of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.  Another task taken up by VF and FGA Church was to become foster parents of 08 children 05 years ago who belong to Chak Jumrah, a village of Faisalabad.

After sudden demise of their parents they left alone in this cruel world. Their relatives didn’t give them any kind of support that leads them to leave the village and came to Rawalpindi. They met Pastor Adnan Bhatti (Board Member VF) and Shahzad Paul Khokhar (Executive Director VF) and discussed their situation. Pastor and E.D VF helped elder ones to get jobs and remaining three children were sent to St. Faith Hostel situated in Station School No. 01 in Rawalpindi for studies. Both hostel and school are under the Management and Control of Lahore Diocesan Board of Education headed by Col. (Retd.) Azim Ilyas. After some time eldest sister Saima Ashiq got married with the some support from FGA Church and VOICE Foundation. The family started with new directions keeping in views goals to achieve in their lives. Now a days three children are studying in St. Faith Hostel for girls.

es  These girls are grown up now and their personalities are well groomed spiritually by their foster parents and academically by their teachers. Now a days they are doing well as two brothers are doing jobs and one sister as well.

Second sister named Kehkshan Ashiq recently got married on November 10, 2023 with the support of FGA Church D.E.B, VOICE Foundation and some individuals. FGA Church and VF team participated well to organize her wedding ceremony with proper rituals and under the faith and religious guide lines. Now Kehkshan is living a happy married life with her husband and both are enjoying blessings of God.

    All the ceremonies went well by the Grace of God! VOICE Foundation and FGA Church D.E.B Rawalpindi are now supporting remaining members of this family and also trying to focus on other issues of Christian communities located in Rawalpindi/Islamabad and all over the Pakistan.

Taking up challenges faced by the communities’ team VF and FGA Church D.E.B is ready to spread country wide to provide remedies and solutions to their problems.
