Care of People with Special Needs
SALAMAT AYUB BHATTI IN GUJRANWALA OCTOBER 2023
VOICE
Foundation is trying to serve orphans, widows and children with special needs
through small projects and during that work found a person with special needs.
The details of that person are given below:
Salamat Ayub Bhatti s/o Ayub Sharif
Bhatti born on May 02, 1988 and is living in Kacha Fatomand Gujranwala, Punjab
Pakistan. His father Mr. Ayub Sharif Bhatti is a driver by profession and in
his family he has 04 daughters and 02 sons along with his wife. Salamat is at
number 03 in his family. He belongs to a very poor family due to his vision of
doing something good in his life and to become a responsible, respectable and
essential part of his family and society as well he decided to become a male
nurse keeping in view his financial problems. In spite of poor back ground and
less resources he did not stop his efforts and got admission in male nursing.
After completing 03 years male nursing diploma from Karachi, his parents called
him back for his engagement ceremony. But as he came back to Gujranwala he went
through a trauma in the form of an accident on motor bike on September 23, 2013.
A rickshaw hit him causing severe damage to his backbone and leads him to a
life where he is depending on others. It is sad that a person who wanted to
support his family and become a respectable member of the society now living a
miserable life and feeling himself a burden for family.
VOICE
Foundation is trying to support Salamat to get back to his normal life by
sharing his reports with local and international teams of doctors in order to
find any health solution for him. Meanwhile VF is trying to make him feel comfortable
by providing basic necessities of life. In this visit VF provided him a wheel
chair and also supporting him financially for last 03 years as VOICE Foundation
is founded in 2020.
VOICE Foundation is now looking for partners to equip
Salamat with latest technology to make him busy and become more useful for
family and society as well.
