Distribution Beddings and Cooked Food Among Victims of Jaranwala Incident August 16, 2023

On August 16, 2023 a mob of extremists attacked Christian areas i.e Essa Nagri and surrounding areas in district Jaranwala Faisalabad Pakistan. As the news of this incident reached the staff of VOICE Foundation (VF), they started working for it and tried to reach the victims of the incident. When they visited the places in district Jaranwala Faisalabad, Pakistan where a mob of extremists attacked the Christian communities and Churches they found burnt houses, house-holds and Churches. Now Christians of these places are wandering here and there trying to hide themselves from the wrath of the said extremists. Some churches and organizations provided them cooked food and other eatables. Team VF visited and made an analysis that they should be provided by food supplies, clothing and beddings for their survival and along with the renovation of the Churches and houses is also needed on urgent basis.

VOICE Foundation partnered some individuals and provided beddings and cooked food to 75 families from different towns, and surrounding areas of the main targeted place named Essa Nagri in Jaranwala. VF also financially supported a pastor available there. Pastor Adnan Bhatti In-charge Pastor FGA (D.E.B) Rawalpindi, Mr. Adnan Yousaf and Pastor Abishey Amos joined Mr. Shahzad Paul Khokhar Executive Director VOICE Foundation for the distribution. Distribution was started with prayer by Pastor Adnan Bhatti. Cooked food was served in start and afterwards beddings for 75 families.
